Job Description
LoanCore is seeking a strategic and collaborative investment Analyst or Associate to join our Banking team based in downtown Beverly Hills, LA. As the Analyst or Associate, you will be joining an experienced investment team that has deployed in excess of $31 billion across over 950 real estate credit investments since 2008. This individual will report to and collaborate directly with senior banking professionals and management, focusing on the analysis, execution and management of all new and existing real estate debt investments. The Analyst or Associate will bring a strong sense of integrity, work ethic and desire to support our team’s continued success and growth.
This role requires 5 days in office at our Beverly Hills, CA office.

Responsibilities
Support investments team in all aspects of the commercial real estate loan origination process
Perform detailed property level due diligence, financial and credit analysis
Cash flow underwriting and modeling of prospective and existing investments
Assist with the preparation and presentation of written credit investment memoranda
Analyze and interpret basic property level financial statements and rent rolls
Review legal documents and third-party reports
Assist in the management of ongoing portfolio investments
Build relationships and be comfortable interacting with brokers, clients, investors, third party consultants and other market participants
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; Preferred Field of Study: Real Estate, Finance/Accounting, Business1-4 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, real estate private equity, investment banking or capital markets
Basic understanding of real estate finance including debt and equity structures
Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to create clear and concise work product with a focus on attention to detail
Strong analytical, problem solving and financial modeling skills
Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills both intra-firm and external facing
Work in a team environment yet think independently and generate quality work product
Analytical skills to understand commercial loan documents
High level understanding of property operating statements for all commercial property types (e.g. hotel, office, multifamily, and self-storage)Ability to work in fast-paced environment running multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Compensation
~$100,000 - $150,000 base salary
~ Annual performance-based bonus opportunity
