Civil Litigation Paralegal

Reputable law firm seeking 5 + years of Litigation Paralegal experience. Located off of I-10 in the Memorial area, excellent location for people living in that area!

Paralegal Job Description:

• Seeking 5 + years of litigation paralegal experience and excellent tenure.
• Will be supporting 2-3 attorneys on a civil litigation docket (Heavy on title and real estate disputes) .
• Will be responsible for all calendaring, for attorney meetings and calls, as well as for cases and transactions.
• Will prepare pleadings, documents, and information needed for all hearings and meetings.
• Will need to ensure that the attorney attends all hearings and meetings in a timely manner with the necessary documents and information.
• Supports preparation of case summaries and materials for mediation conferences; preparing pleadings; monitoring and obtaining discovery responses; organizing materials for team case review.
• Enhances trial proceedings by organizing evidence; preparing exhibits; scheduling witnesses; ensuring that witnesses are ready when needed.
• Helps develop cases by maintaining contact with people involved in the case; scheduling depositions; preparing and filing documents; drafting, organizing, and maintaining pleadings and discovery.
