Commercial Construction Project Manager

Location: Inland Empire, CA

Projects: Ground-Up & Tenant Improvements (Retail, Office, QSR, Mixed-Use)

We have boots on the ground across Orange County, leading everything from large-scale ground-up developments to fast-paced tenant improvements. Think: retail pads, medical offices, industrial flex spaces, and everything in between. No two projects are alike—and that’s exactly how we like it.

What You’ll Be Driving:

As a Commercial PM, you’ll take full ownership of the build process from the first shovel in the ground (or demo hammer through the wall) to final closeout. You’ll be the center of the storm—in control of cost, schedule, people, and process.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Running multiple ground-up and/or TI projects simultaneously
• Overseeing precon, budgeting, bidding, and buyout
• Leading subs, vendors, and internal teams with clarity and urgency
• Navigating permits, inspections, and local jurisdictional nuances with finesse
• Identifying and solving problems before they hit the schedule
• Communicating with clients like a pro—updating, aligning, and occasionally saving the day
• Maintaining an iron grip on quality, safety, and timelines
• Closing jobs strong, with documentation, punch, and final sign-offs dialed in

What You Bring to the Table:

• 6+ years of commercial construction project management experience
• Proven success with both ground-up and tenant improvement projects
• Strong working knowledge of local codes, permitting, and subcontractor networks in Orange County
• You can read a set of plans blindfolded and spot a missing spec from a mile away
• Sharp communicator—written, verbal, digital. You keep people in the loop and off your back.
• Deadline-driven without sacrificing quality
• Tech-savvy (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project or similar platforms)
