Job Description

WTS Energy is currently looking for a Contract Manager professional for one of the largest heavy civil infrastructure contractors in the USA. This position focuses on leading the financial and contractual oversight of complex construction projects, ensuring all entitlements are identified, quantified, and submitted in line with contract terms.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial and contractual management of complex construction projects, ensuring all entitlements are properly identified, valued, and submitted in accordance with the contract.
• You will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of large-scale construction projects, making sure all claims and entitlements are accurately recognized, assessed, and filed as per contract requirements.
• You will take charge of contract and cost control on complex construction projects, guaranteeing all eligible claims are identified, quantified, and submitted in compliance with contractual obligations.
• You will manage the financial and contractual components of major construction projects, ensuring that all project entitlements are clearly defined, appropriately measured, and submitted according to contract terms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract management within the construction industry; strong preference for background in DOT (Department of Transportation) projects
• Thorough understanding of the end-to-end contracting process
• Experience with long-term contracts is highly desirable
• Proven background in construction is essential
