Now Hiring: Emissions Test Technician (2nd Shift)

📍 On-site – Ann Arbor, MI 48105

🕒 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Are you ready to be part of cutting-edge emissions testing and automotive innovation? We’re looking for a dedicated Emissions Test Technician to join our team in Ann Arbor, supporting essential testing operations that drive the future of vehicle development.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and prepare test vehicles on a chassis dynamometer using standard protocols
• Operate chassis dynos and emission analyzers in alignment with engineering requests
• Drive test vehicles on the dyno, following specified test traces or direct engineering input
• Handle and measure particulate filters in a controlled, clean environment
• Assist with daily test schedules and prioritize test queue support
• Maintain a clean, organized test cell environment and contribute to routine maintenance
• Actively participate in safety and quality initiatives
• Be comfortable working in test chambers with extreme temperatures ranging from -35°C to 50°C

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma required; Associate Degree or trade school certification preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in emissions testing, including knowledge of EPA drive cycles (FTP 75, US06, HFET), analyzer setup, and chassis dyno operation
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and testing accuracy
• A clean driving record is required (motor vehicle record will be reviewed)
