Job Description

Position: Recruiter

Location: Seattle, WA 98108 (1-2x per week)

Duration: 6 month contract, potential for extensions/conversion

Job Summary: Recology King County is seeking a dedicated Recruiter to join our team in South Seattle. This role involves recruiting front-line skillsets such as drivers, supporting a full-time person, and handling administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a thick skin, be comfortable with administrative duties, and preferably be fluent in Spanish to work effectively within our diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Line Recruiting: Actively recruit drivers and other front-line skillsets to meet the target of 60 drivers by August.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks related to recruitment and onboarding.
  • Background Checks and Monitoring: Conduct background checks and monitor compliance.
  • Technical Skills: Utilize Teleo Business Addition, People Trail (First Advantage), and Docusign for recruitment processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with mechanics and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Must-Haves:

  • Recruitment Experience: Proven experience in recruiting, particularly for front-line positions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in administrative tasks.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle challenges and find effective solutions.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Teleo Business Addition, People Trail (First Advantage), and Docusign.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team and communicate effectively in Spanish.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Work Environment:

  • Based at Recology King County – South Seattle, with occasional travel to the office (1-2x per week).

Compensation: $35.00-38.00/HR
