As part of this transformation, TRATON’s U.S. R&D team is seeking a Senior Engineer – HVAC, Testing and Validation. In this role, you’ll lead testing efforts focused on the performance, reliability, and compliance of HVAC and vehicle cooling systems. This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a lab environment and has a strong grasp of thermal systems and data-driven development. You’ll design and execute test plans, analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and continuous improvement.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s OR master’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, withat least 2 years relevant experience in product design or development.
Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with HVAC systems, vehicle testing, instrumentation setup, and data analysis tools such as MATLAB, Excel, or Python. Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of automotive or heavy-duty vehicle systems will set you apart.
