We are looking for a reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our San Marcos team and play a crucial role in keeping our fleet of trucks, trailers, and construction equipment safe, compliant, and ready for action.

If you have a knack for diagnosing and repairing complex machinery and take pride in your work, we want to talk to you. We value solid skills and a great attitude, and we are willing to train candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and comprehensive repairs on our company fleet and heavy construction equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with precision.
• Conduct DOT inspections to ensure our fleet meets all safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain meticulous service logs, work orders, and inspection records.
• Communicate effectively with the Fleet Manager and operators to schedule downtime and provide status updates.

Requirements:

• A foundational knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. (1-2 years of experience is preferred, but we will train motivated individuals with related experience) .
• A safety-first mindset with a strong understanding of DOT regulations.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software to interpret fault codes.
• The ability to work independently and manage your daily workload efficiently.
• A valid driver's license. (CDL is a plus, but not required) .
