As our HVAC Service & Install Manager, you'll set the standard for that attention to detail and help your team develop the same mindset. Your role combines daily coaching with active oversight of service technicians and install crews. That means reviewing work for accuracy and craftsmanship, mentoring apprentices as they grow, and ensuring every job meets Action's expectations for professionalism and customer care.
Just as important, you'll help HVAC technicians strengthen their communication with homeowners. That includes teaching them how to explain recommendations clearly, present options with confidence, and ensure customers feel fully informed before making decisions. By coaching both technical skill and communication, you'll equip your team to deliver not only great work, but also a great experience.
This position offers competitive base pay, plus bonuses based on your team's performance. A relocation package is also available for the right candidate.
Quality & Detail Oversight
Review job photos, estimates, and completed work for accuracy, thoroughness, and craftsmanship.
Inspect installs to ensure HVAC systems are installed the Action way: on-time, code-compliant, and with the highest level of customer services
Conduct truck and equipment inspections to ensure readiness and professionalism.
Customer Experience
Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Conduct quality walk-throughs on select jobs to confirm customer satisfaction.
Coach HVAC technicians on clear communication and presenting solutions in a way that builds trust.
Team Growth & Recruitment
Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new HVAC service technicians and installers.
Lead orientation for new hires, modeling the Action way of professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail.
Build and maintain a culture where learning, accountability, and customer care are top priorities.
Experienced HVAC technician with strong background in residential service and/or installations
Proven leadership experience in managing an HVAC service or install team
A team-first leader who believes in bringing out the best in others
Organized, proactive, and comfortable with using technology in the field
Able to hold high standards while supporting your team with patience and clarity
