Job Title: School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Kansas City, KS

Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite Only

Hours: Between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (varies by site)

Start Date: August 1, 2025

End Date: May 22, 2026

Mandatory Training: July 31 – August 8 (Required for consideration)

First Day of School: August 11, 2025

Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support student health across multiple elementary school sites in Kansas City, KS. These are onsite-only roles working in school clinics and providing building-wide support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and emergency medical care to students
• Administer medications and manage chronic conditions
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
• Support school-wide health programs and assist in classrooms or common areas as needed
• Adapt quickly to changing needs within the school environment

Requirements:

• Active LPN license in the state of Kansas
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative school team
• Pediatric or school experience preferred
• Must attend mandatory training July 31 – August 8 to be considered
