About this Position:

Job Title: Mainframe Developer

Required/Desired Skills:

• Experience in Software development and debugging using Mainframe technologies such as Cobol, CICS, JCL, DB2, TSO, VSAM. - 10 Years.
• Hands on experience in Programming using DB2(Z/OS), DB2 SQLs, Stored procedures. - 7 Years.
• Experience with source code management tool like Endevor. - 7 Years.
• Experience with QMF, SPUFI, and FILEAID/CA-tools. - 5 Years.
• Extensive experience in debugging COBOL/DB2 application code using tools like XPEDITOR/CA-Intertest. - 5 Years.
• Experience with X/PTR(reporting tool). - 4 Years.
• Experience with Zeke or similar job scheduler tools. - 5 Years.
• Experience with structured system development methodologies such as agile (preferred), waterfall. - 5 Years.
• Experience in understanding and gathering business requirements, reviewing specifications, developing test cases, and performing unit/system testing. - 7 Years.
• Excellent written and presentation skills using Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint and Excel). - 5 Years.
• Ability to develop good working relationships/partnerships with clients. - 5 Years.
• Ability to translate and communicate highly technical concepts to both technical and non-IT business users. - 5 Years.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills. - 5 Years.
• Participate in on-call support for nightly batch processes. - 2 Years.
• Experience with CA-Easytrieve/Plus is Highly desired. - 1 Years.
