Job Description

Dekko Avilla is a full-service Tier 1 supplier of injection-molded products and value-added assemblies. We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely maintenance of our production equipment and facility systems. In this role, you'll play a critical part in minimizing downtime, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and driving continuous improvement.

To succeed, you should have a strong mechanical aptitude, be curious about how things work, and have a sharp eye for identifying issues before they become problems. This role requires collaboration with team members across operations and engineering.

What you'll do:

• Follow all plant safety procedures and guidelines without exception
• Maintain a positive, team-focused attitude with both customers and coworkers
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on facility and production equipment
• Use the maintenance system to create, update, and complete work orders
• Support operations with basic equipment operation techniques and preventive care
• Minimize downtime through fast, effective maintenance and repair
• Identify maintenance issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements
• Document work accurately, including time, materials, and completed tasks
• Contribute to cost savings and process improvement initiatives
• Support housekeeping and layout efficiency across the manufacturing site
• Review and give input on new or existing equipment to improve long-term performance

About you:

• Strong understanding of industrial and building maintenance practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Effective communication across technical and non-technical teams
• Electrical troubleshooting, repair, and installation
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Welding (MIG, TIG, or stick) is a plus

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment preferred

Additional Requirements:

• Occasional day travel may be required to support other local Dekko facilities
