Unlock your potential! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Monitor Tech is responsible for observing and interpreting patient cardiac rhythms on telemetry monitors, reporting any abnormalities to nursing staff, and maintaining telemetry supplies. They also document patient conditions, may orient new staff, and follow safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: + Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation + Reporting Abnormalities + Telemetry Supply Management + Patient Safety + Professionalism + Communication + Training and Support + Compliance Qualifications: + Basic Arrhythmia Recognition required + Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of employment + OTHER-fingerprinting required + Excellent communication skills + High school diploma/GED preferred + Hospital experience desired HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children's Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is located on a 94-acre campus in Palm Beach County. The surrounding areas include Wellington, Royal Palm Beach and Loxahatchee.
