Apply Today! **Job Summary and Qualifications** As a monitor technician, your work is vital with monitoring patients' heart performance and checking for any abnormalities, such as irregular heartbeats, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest. Your position as a monitor tech, plays an important role in the care of patients and healthcare providers by consistently interpreting test results and reporting those results to the healthcare personnel team. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today! + You will routinely monitor patients, review patient charts, send charts after to medical records after discharge + You will have daily interaction with patients and other healthcare personnel + Consistently, accuracy and timeliness is extremely important in this role, you will be transcribing physician orders 100% of the time plus alerting nursing to STAT and NOW orders **What qualifications you will need:** + High School Diploma or equivalent **required** + Current BLS **required** + Successful completion of arrhythmia interpretation class or demonstrated proficiency through testing **required** + Knowledge of normal and abnormal rhythms in static and dynamic patient condition testing with 90 test pass rate but 100% of lethal dysrythmia interpretation **required** + Basic medical terminology class **preferred** Good Samaritan Hospital ( has been serving Silicon Valley since 1965, giving patient's access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology.
