Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Lewis Representation LLC — Gales Ferry, Connecticut

Lewis Representation LLC is a business compliance and advisory firm providing comprehensive bookkeeping, tax preparation, data analysis, and CFO advisory services. Managing Partner Madeleine Lewis is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day operations alongside a team of six accountants.

📌 Position Details

  • Hours : 20 per week, Monday-Thursday (Hour provision is designed to accommodate parents with young children in particular.)
  • Compensation : $18/hour
  • Location : In-person

🗂️ Key Responsibilities

  • Answering and directing incoming/outgoing office calls
  • Greeting clients and visitors, including direct one-on-one interactions
  • Collecting and distributing mail
  • Managing office supply inventory and placing orders as needed
  • Creating and maintaining both digital and physical filing systems
  • Coordinating meetings and scheduling calendars
  • Ensuring proper disposal of sensitive documents
  • Tracking and initiating operational bills (e.g., rent payments)
  • Scanning and organizing receipts, invoices, and other documents
  • Using specialized software for secure client document delivery
  • Performing data entry and assisting with form preparation in tax software, including filing with state and IRS

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to support colleagues and clients
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is preferred but not required
