Job Description

We’re working with a leading manufacturer in the building materials space to help them hire a Quality Assurance Manager, someone who can take the lead on quality strategy across several production facilities.

This is a newly created, high-impact role with strong backing from leadership. It’s a great fit for someone who knows how to build and scale QA systems that balance structure with on-the-ground practicality.

What You’ll Do

• Own and implement the quality strategy across multiple manufacturing locations
• Manage QA/QC procedures, ensuring all materials meet internal and external specs (ASTM, CSA)
• Oversee mix design processes, raw material testing, and supplier collaboration
• Lead investigations and root cause analysis for quality issues and downtime
• Train plant staff on QA systems, lab testing, and continuous improvement best practices
• Work cross-functionally to support plant performance and resolve quality-related challenges
• Contribute to Lean/Six Sigma improvement efforts and quality-based decision making
• Report directly to the VP of Manufacturing, acting as the main point of contact for quality

Who You Are

• A QA leader or senior-level specialist from the building materials, precast, or general manufacturing world
• Comfortable with mix design, raw material testing, and process documentation
• Lean/Six Sigma trained (Green Belt preferred)
• Hands-on, data-driven, and practical in your approach
• Comfortable working across teams and spending time on the floor
• Solid communication and Excel/reporting skills
• Ready to help a company modernize its quality program while maintaining a strong culture
