Reliance One, Inc. is hiring directly for one of our clients in Milwaukee, WI, for a Quality Engineer . This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team where you’ll play a key role in establishing and driving quality systems, supplier oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Define and establish a quality system for managing internal and external (supplier) quality requirements aligned with corporate policies.
• Partner with operational leadership to manage quality outputs and align with business objectives.
• Work cross-functionally to implement and track effective quality processes across the organization, including supplier quality audits and first article inspections.
• Serve as the point of contact for external audits (CSA, UL, Intertek, etc.), ensuring findings are resolved.
• Build and reinforce a culture of continuous improvement with disciplined problem identification, investigation, and root cause mitigation.
• Establish and maintain robust EH&S processes and procedures.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned or defined by the Management System.

Performance Objectives

• Establish and maintain a Quality Management System with periodic assessments and benchmarking.
• Define and track KPIs to measure quality effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Integrate structured problem-solving methodologies into the company culture.
• Ensure quality assurance processes are embedded across the order-to-cash process for maximum customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management, electronics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a production environment with increasing responsibility.
• Experience with APQP-style management systems (a plus).
• Experience with EH&S processes and procedures.
• Lean Sigma Green Belt certification or higher preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to facilitate problem-solving in a team environment.
• Experience managing regulatory certifications (UL, CSA).
• Background in electronics manufacturing (a plus).
• Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication.
