Hybrid Role | Light Local Travel | Houston Area Residents Only

Position Overview:

We’re hiring a Recruiter to source, screen, and place traveling craft professionals for high-impact projects across the country. This is a hybrid role based in the Houston, TX area, with occasional on-site client visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and recruit traveling craft professionals, including electricians, welders, and millwrights
  • Write compelling, keyword-optimized job postings to attract top talent
  • Screen candidates for technical skills, certifications, experience, and cultural fit
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of traveling professionals
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from first outreach to offer acceptance
  • Partner with field leadership to anticipate project staffing needs and timelines
  • Conduct occasional on-site client visits in the Houston area
  • Stay current on industry certifications, wage trends, and labor market data

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience in the construction, industrial, or related sectors
  • Proven success recruiting and placing traveling professionals or trades talent
  • Strong understanding of trade certifications (e.g., Journeyman, NCCER, OSHA)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with ATS/recruiting tools and Microsoft Office
  • Residency in the Houston, TX area (required)
