We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our amazing team! Every Child Pediatrics provides comprehensive, affordable health care to nearly 24,000 Colorado children, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. Our experienced professionals focus on the child’s overall well-being, providing high-quality medical care, behavioral health counseling, dental care, nutrition, healthy lifestyle programs, and connections to support services such as housing and transportation. Registered Nurses take part in providing direct patient care services within the professional scope of practice and as determined by patient and provider needs. In addition, Registered Nurses manage patients through telephone triage. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday. Our Registered Nurses do not work nights or weekends!

The main location for this position is the Every Child Pediatrics Aurora Clinic located at 1550 S Potomac St, Suite 130 in Aurora, CO. However, based on clinical and coverage needs, Registered Nurses may be required to travel to three other clinics in the Denver Metro area: Denver Clinic located at 1601 East 19th Ave in Denver, CO, Thornton Clinic located at 9197 Grant St in Thornton, CO, and the Lakewood Clinic, located at 355 Union Blvd in Lakewood, CO.

Responsibilities:

• Perform direct patient care, including patient education.
• Provide triage assessments and counseling for patients and families seeking treatment over the phone or in person.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including documenting information gathered from or advice given to inform providers of patient progress and outcomes.
• Follow established written protocols for handling common pediatric illnesses.
• Advise patients and their families about their healthcare needs.
• Schedule patients as appropriate for clinic appointments and place follow-up calls as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado in good standing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred
• Electronic Medical Record system experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Spanish speaking is preferred
• BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Current resident of the State of Colorado

Compensation details: 34-38 Hourly Wage
