Senior Project Superintendent needed in Miami for managing all day-to-day field operations on construction projects from groundbreaking to completion. Full-time role, excellent benefits. This role requires a proven leader who can effectively schedule, supervise, and coordinate subcontractors, ensure compliance with project specifications, and deliver on-time, on-budget results. Candidates must have prior experience successfully leading projects in South Florida’s construction market.
This position is full-time Monday through Friday on-site. Candidates may reside out of state, as company-paid weekly travel will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of construction projects, from site mobilization to final delivery.
Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules to stakeholders.
Lead subcontractors, field staff, and project engineers to achieve project milestones.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and owners to resolve issues.
Monitor budgets, productivity, and quality control standards.
Conduct regular jobsite meetings, progress reports, and risk assessments.
Utilize Procore and Microsoft Office Suite to manage documentation, RFIs, submittals, and reporting.
Mentor and guide junior staff to support career development.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction supervision, with most of that being in a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent role.
Demonstrated success leading large-scale commercial or residential projects in South Florida.
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, codes, and safety regulations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Procore project management software.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to travel weekly and commit to a Monday–Friday on-site work schedule.
