  • Create and implement content calendars, guiding the creation of high-impact, platform-specific content that promotes growth, engagement, and app adoption in both spoken and ASL formats.
  • Collaborate with creative and editorial resources to script and develop compelling short-form content that captures attention and drives conversation.
  • Monitor and apply emerging social trends, memes, and best practices to keep Nagish relevant and culturally attuned.

  • Identify, source, and collaborate with influencers in the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities to drive brand awareness and conversions.
  • Oversee influencer campaign execution, from outreach and negotiation to content briefing, approval, and performance tracking.
  • Maintain authentic relationships with influencer partners aligned with Nagish’s values and mission.
  • Stay informed about developments in influencer marketing, accessibility, and assistive tech.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, community management, or advocacy, preferably in the accessibility, tech, or telecom sectors.
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and grow online communities and advocacy networks.
  • Lived experience as Deaf or hard of hearing, or a deep understanding of Deaf culture and communication access.
  • Proficiency in ASL, or strong comfort working with ASL interpreters in Deaf-led spaces.
  • Deep understanding of the accessibility landscape, including relay services (IP CTS, IP Relay) and assistive communication technologies.
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling, and scriptwriting skills tailored to social media platforms.
  • Passion for inclusivity, accessibility, and empowering marginalized communities.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns, calendars, and partners.
  • Confident public speaker or on-camera presence (with or without interpretation).
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms and experience applying insights to optimize performance.
  • Experience using influencer discovery tools and managing digital partnerships is a plus.
  • Video editing or visual storytelling background is a bonus.
  • Due to team collaboration needs, this role requires working hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone.
