Sub-Investigator (MD, DO, or NP) – Clinical Research

📍 Lutherville, MD | Part-Time (2–3 days/week, flexible schedule)

💰 $50–$70 per hour | Contract-to-hire opportunity

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Sub-Investigator (MD, DO, or NP) with strong clinical and patient care experience to join a growing clinical research team in Lutherville, MD. This position is ideal for a clinician who wants to contribute to advancing medicine while maintaining hands-on patient care involvement.

As a Sub-Investigator, you’ll provide medical oversight, ensure protocol adherence, and collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator and study team to ensure safe and efficient study conduct.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Principal Investigator in protocol implementation and study oversight.
Conduct patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams (as within scope of practice), and adverse event evaluations.
Monitor participant safety and ensure compliance with study protocols.
Build rapport with participants and provide clinical guidance throughout the study.
Obtain informed consent and explain study procedures clearly.
Ensure adherence to GCP, FDA, and IRB regulations.
Review study documentation and source data for accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with coordinators, sponsors, and CRO representatives as needed.

Qualifications

MD, DO, or Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed in Maryland
Minimum of 3–5 years of post-graduate clinical experience
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred: Prior clinical research or Sub-Investigator experience
