Position Summary

We are looking to add Warehouse Manager to our dynamic team for Whitestown IN location. The ideal candidate will have experience in both inbound and outbound in supply chain area. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members daily. As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods.
  • Efficiently complete the Inbound of various types of goods, ensure the consistency of goods accounts, and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance.
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of shipping.
  • Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
  • Determine staffing levels and assign workload.
  • Optimize operational processes and techniques, improve operational efficiency, and continuously reduce costs.
  • Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
  • Lead small improvement projects and promote the implementation of the projects.

Job Requirements

  • Three plus years of work experience as a Warehouse Manager.
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate inbound or outbound operations with a minimum of 5 direct reports and hundreds of associates.
  • Knowledge of warehouse software(Such as WMS, TMS, ERP).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products excel, word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
